LISTECH Neo is new generation geospatial software that offers exciting functionality and customisability with increased productivity and ease of use.

Neo offers the ability to tailor custom attributes to suit client needs. Defining attributes with Neo is easy or you can create them automatically simply by importing from another system. Attributes can also be set to automatically populate with default values and optionally increment as objects are created. Neo allows you to deliver product tailored exactly to your client needs.

Neo seamlessly transfers information to and from GIS, BIM, CAD, LISCAD, Google Earth, SketchUp, XML and Leica, Trimble and other field systems. Neo's versatility allows you combine various data sources and to deliver product in the client’s desired format.

Neo has an integrated 3D/2D environment where What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). This visual reality combined with extremely fast graphics and streamlined workflow ensures maximum productivity.

Designed for global use; units, precision's, coordinate systems, display options, text styles and reports are configurable allowing local presentation requirements to be met anywhere in the world. Further, the Neo database supports any language and the interface can be translated to any language.

Neo includes an integrated measurement database for the processing and reduction of field surveys and the quality control that comes from measurement/object relationships.

Neo uses rigorous geodetic computations and supports a wide range of map projections, ellipsoids, transformation and geoid models.

Neo makes productive use of images from imaging total stations by creating points, lines and polygons directly from the images. This helps avoid unnecessary field revisits and is useful for façade surveys, asset inspections and surveys with time or safety constraints.

Neo projects are template based allowing for full customisation for the needs of different clients or work practices. Sample project templates are included enabling quick and easy initial project creation.

Neo Xchange modules seamlessly transfer information to and from GIS (ESRI, MapInfo), BIM (IFC/IFCzip), AutoCAD (DWG, DXF, DWF), MicroStation (DGN), Google Earth (KML, KMZ), Leica (COE, DBX, FlexLine), LandXML, LISCAD (SEE, CAD, CTB), Sokkia SDR, Topcon Magnet XML, Trimble XML (JXL, FXL), A-Spec (D-Spec, O-Spec, R-Spec), GeoCivil, GENIO, SketchUp and many other systems. The extensive data exchange makes Neo extremely versatile for combining, manipulating and moving data between various office systems and/or the field. Neo Xchange allows you to deliver product in the client’s desired format.

The Adjust module enables simultaneous least squares adjustment of traverses and survey networks using the integrated measurement database. Both minimally constrained and fully constrained network adjustments are supported.

The Solve module incorporates rigorous geodetic coordinate geometry (COGO) computations based on a selected coordinate system for creation of new geospatial objects including points, lines, polygons, text and images.

 Image Xtract
The Image Xtract module enables object creation and measurement functionality directly from images created by Leica Imaging Total Stations. There are many benefits, such as potentially avoiding field revisits, using images for façade surveys, asset inspections and surveys with time or safety constraints. You can now capture images quickly in the field and complete the survey in the office.
Image Xtract includes the following features:
  • Automatic image selection
    Select one image and Neo will automatically display other images that have an overlap and can be used for object computations.
  • Epipolar Line
    Makes for easy digitising. Simply select a location on an image and an epipolar line is displayed on the paired image. This provides a quick guide for the selection of the corresponding object in the other images.
  • Quality Indicators
    Estimated standard error values indicate the computed accuracy of the object based on the geometry of the image measurements.
  • Best Fit Solution
    Provides the best fit position of a point based on the selected pixel locations using two or more images.

 Image Connect
The Image Connect module enables online connection to WMTS and WMS based image services including HxIP, NearMap and ESRI World Imagery. The images can be used as background in Plan view and can be draped over terrain models in 3D view.

 Image GeoRef
The Image GeoRef module enables import, registration, clipping and display of georeferenced images in ECW, JPEG, TIFF, BMP and PNG formats. The images can be used as background in Plan view and can be draped over terrain models in 3D view.

 Point Cloud
The Point Cloud module enables the import, export, display, processing of scan data. A range of standard data formats including PTS, LAS/LAZ and E57 are supported along with import from Leica scanning total stations. Point clouds can be displayed according to point colour, scan colour, intensity, height and classification. Tools for editing, down sampling, ground classification, transformation and more are included. The clip plane tool makes it easy to create lines and other objects from the scan data.

The Terrain module allows the creation and editing of terrain models, contours and contour labels. Breaklines and boundary lines may be used to control the creation of the terrain models. Terrain models can be intersected to compute areas of cut and fill.

The Volume module allows for calculation and reporting of volumes and areas of cut and fill from terrain models.

The Transform module allows the estimation and application of transformations between different coordinate systems.
