July 2025 Release of LISTECH Neo
LISTECH Neo latest release is now available.
We are pleased to announce the July 2025 release of LISTECH Neo, the next generation surveying, engineering, and geospatial software. This release includes numerous new features, improvements to existing functionality, and engineering fixes to make Neo even better. Some of these improvements include:
- Added the Closure tool to adjust point and line traverses
- Added the Create Point by Grid command
- Added the Fiji Map Grid 1986 coordinate system
- Added support for importing and exporting LINZ Landonline XML files
- Added support for importing MicroSurvey FieldGenius RW5 files
- Added support for monochrome printing
- Added an option to plot data other than images in black and white
- Added a wheelchair symbol to the default templates
- Added the ability to cut, copy and paste using an insertion vertex
- Added the ability to compute interval volumes between:
- A terrain model and a base plane
- Two terrain models
- Enhanced the Create Boundary Polygon tool to optionally exclude objects with default height or that are not set to be used in terrain models
- Enhanced the Examine Angle tool to support different modes
- Enhanced the Modify Explode tool to break disjointed lines and multipart polygons
- Enhanced the Modify Convert tool to allow lines to be converted to contours
- Enhanced the Modify Filter tool to remove degenerate terrain model faces
- Enhanced the Move Object(s) tool to allow objects to be rotated graphically
- Enhanced the AutoCAD DWG/DXF exports to:
- Allow control over how polygon edges and fills are exported
- Move viewports to different layers if needed to ensure visibility is maintained
- Enhanced the Leica DBX export to:
- Set the name of the geoid model used in Neo
- Optionally export images
- Enhanced the Geopackage export to optionally include columns for all or only used attributes
- Enhanced the Neo import to allow renaming of points
- Enhanced the Trimble JXL import to recognise Trimble standard prisms
- Enhanced the export to various GIS formats to better detect incompatible attributes
- Enhanced the conversion of alignments to design alignments to consider transition curve lengths
In addition, various other improvements and optimisations have been made throughout the system.
Getting the Neo July 2025 Release
Neo licences that are on LISTECH Cover or have a Leica Geosystems Customer Care Package (CCP) with an expiry date of July 1, 2025 or later, can download, install, and run this release via the downloads section of the LISTECH Neo product page.
