July 2024 Release of LISTECH Neo
LISTECH Neo latest release is now available.
We are pleased to announce the July 2024 release of LISTECH Neo, the next generation surveying, engineering, and geospatial software. This release includes numerous new features, improvements to existing functionality, and engineering fixes to make Neo even better. Some of these improvements include:
- Added support for tables (point, line, polygon, block and colour banding) for legends, coordinates, short lines etc.
- Added support for horizontal alignments
- Added the Examine Clearance tool to e.g. check the clearance between pipes
- Added the Modify Reverse tool to reverse the direction of lines and polygons
- Added the Modify Unmerge Vertex tool to remove topology between objects
- Added the ability create the Total Station Setup Summary report after importing
- Added the ability to select individual terrain models via the ribbon
- Added the ability to create contour labels by freehand line
- Added the ability to create contour labels at the ends of contour lines
- Added an option to use uphill convention for contour labels
- Added an option to display contour labels for preview contours
- Added the ability to set different area units depending on the magnitude of the area
- Added the ability to use different conventions for offsets (+/-, L/R, N/S/E/W)
- Added the ability to create offset text using only vertices
- Added the 3D length of lines and pipes to the Attributes tool
- Added special import modes for NSW LRS and Victoria DCM LandXML to prioritise dimensions over coordinates
- Added point name to the line and polygon segments report
- Added export to Leica Captivate v8.0 which supports more attributes
- Added support for HeXML v2.1
- Added an option to preserve heights when using grid transformations
- Added an option to rotate images
- Added an option to export polygons to AutoCAD as closed polylines
- Added an option to set line weight for point symbols
- Added an option to close and compact when saving as a template
- Replaced the Examine Offset from Line, Examine Offset from Reference Line and Examine Offset from Reference Plane tools with a new Examine Offset tool
- Improved the editing of viewports to show live updates to the scale
- Improved the creation of transition curves
- Improved the hatching of very large polygons
- Improved comparison text to show the difference between rounded values
- Improved 2D export of lines to AutoCAD to form polylines where possible
- Improved the performance of merging terrain models
- Combined Modify Segment Line with Modify Explode
- Changed the behaviour of viewports to have layers default to disconnected
In addition, various other improvements and optimisations have been made throughout the system.
Getting the Neo July 2024 Release
Neo licences that are on LISTECH Cover or have a Leica Geosystems Customer Care Package (CCP) with an expiry date of July 1, 2024 or later, can download, install, and run this release via the downloads section of the LISTECH Neo product page.
