We are pleased to announce the October 2026 release of LISTECH Neo, the next generation surveying, engineering, and geospatial software. This release includes numerous new features, improvements to existing functionality, and engineering fixes to make Neo even better. Some of these improvements include:
- Added the Create Polygon by Corridor command
- Added the Find Text by Value command
- Added the Volume to Approximate Offset report
- Added the Text Attributes report
- Added support for importing GNSS Vector Exchange (GVX) files
- Added support for importing ZLib compressed GeoTIFF files
- Added a button to open the Earth Constants dialog from the Manage ribbon tab
- Added a keyboard shortcut (F11) to toggle the display of image thumbnails
- Added an option to show the layer name and description in the ribbon
- Added an option to hide non-redundant measurements in the Measurement View
- Added the ability to select objects of a specific type from individual measurements in the Measurement View
- Enhanced the Create Terrain Model by Existing Objects command to optionally maintain topology
- Enhanced the Create Line by Parallel command to maintain three-point arcs and to optionally trim
- Enhanced the Create Point Cloud by Downsample command to use the configured user coordinate system
- Enhanced the Create Alignment by Existing Line command to consider the end of the line that was clicked
- Enhanced the AutoCAD DWG/DXF export to optionally use the layer description
- Enhanced the AutoCAD DWG/DXF import to support layer groups, detect duplicated terrain model faces and to optionally import all blocks and line types
- Enhanced the Leica DBX export to optionally create a folder
- Enhanced the Trimble FXL export to support friendly names for attributes and to import line styles and plan symbols with text
- Enhanced the LandXML import to support plan feature layers from BricsCAD and Civil3D
- Enhanced the 12D Archive export to optionally create vertex attributes
- Enhanced the MRWA export to support arcs
- Enhanced the A-Spec templates for the v2.0.11 code list update
- Enhanced the Alignment Conformance Report to support additional columns and tolerance checks more clearly
- Enhanced the Query tool to allow deleting layers using wildcards and to support very long scripts
- Enhanced the combined text format to support nested parentheses
- Enhanced the direction edit controls to support pasting formatted sexagesimal values
- Improved the rendering of line width/weight to prioritise plan views
- Improved Neo to prevent the file modified date updating when a project is closed without saving
In addition, various other improvements and optimisations have been made throughout the system.
Getting the Neo October 2026 Release
Neo licences that are on LISTECH Cover or have a Leica Geosystems Customer Care Package (CCP) with an expiry date of October 1, 2026 or later, can download, install, and run this release via the downloads section of the LISTECH Neo product page.
